Money Burn — Privacy Policy

Money Burn is a personal finance awareness app created by Thespesio (“we”, “us).

1) Overview
Money Burn is built to keep your data on your device. We do not run servers for Money Burn and we do not collect, store, or receive your financial entries.

2) What we collect
We do not collect personal data through the app.
- No account / login
- No analytics
- No in-app tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No third-party SDKs for analytics or diagnostics
- No transmission of your entries to our servers (we do not operate servers for Money Burn)

3) Your data (cost items)
Your subscription-style items (expenses/income), amounts, periods, notes (if any), and related app metadata are stored locally on your device.
Your data does not leave your device through the Money Burn app itself.

4) Exported reports (Markdown)
Money Burn allows you to export reports in Markdown format (for example: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly views).
- Reports are generated on your device.
- You choose where to save or share them (e.g., Files, iCloud Drive, email, messaging apps).
- We do not receive these reports and we do not upload them anywhere.
Money Burn does not provide an import feature.

5) Apple system services
Apple may provide developers with diagnostic information depending on your iOS settings (for example, if you choose to share crash/diagnostic data with app developers).
Money Burn does not add additional analytics or diagnostics beyond what Apple may provide through system settings.

6) Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data because we do not collect it.
We have no servers and do not transmit your entries to any third-party service.

7) Data retention and deletion
Because your data is stored locally:
- You can delete items inside the app at any time.
- Deleting the app removes its local data from your device (subject to Apple/iOS behavior).
- Any exported Markdown reports remain wherever you saved them; you control and delete those files.

8) Security
We rely on Apple’s platform security and your device security settings (passcode/Face ID).
You are responsible for protecting your device and any exported Markdown reports you choose to save or share.

9) Children
Money Burn is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) without parental consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10) Changes to this policy
If we change how Money Burn works (for example, adding cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or any server-based features), we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date.
